Letter from the PresidentDear MSTOA Members and Fellow Officers:
The location of the 2005 MSTOA conference will remain at Ft Harrison in Helena, Montana from May 9-13, 2005. Lodging information can be found on our website in our last newsletter.
For the first time in MSTOA history, we will have a team competition on the final day of the conference. We plan on having team and individual awards and a plaque to include bragging rights for a year!! The competition will be four person teams and you may have more than one from each agency. The tentative format is as follows, team pistol shoot, team sub-gun shoot, scenario, and team obstacle course. If you will have less than four members, we will team up with others.
The conference agenda is as follows; Ø May 9 – Travel and registration Ø May 10 – Business Meeting / Training / Vendors Exhibition Ø May 11 – Training / Banquet Ø May 12 - Team Competition Ø May 13 - Travel
All training tracts require basic safety equipment such as eye and hearing protection, helmets, etc. Remember we train as we operate. Also be prepared for inclement weather.
